Hongfu Temple, also named Hong Temple, was built in Hongmiao Town of Fengxian County in 1766 (the 30th year under reign of Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty) and rebuilt in 1995 with a covering of more than 20,000 square meters in accordance with the original features on the site it stands today. Inside the temple are Pailou (decorated archway), Sanmen, Grand Hall, the Hall of the Heavenly Kings, Abbot Hall and Hongfu Pagoda. It is one of the famous ancient temples in Shanghai.
