Pork Dishes--Pickled and Steamed Pig's Forehoof

Ingredients: 1000g pig's forehoof, salt, chives, ginger, gourmet powder, prickly ash, edible nitre, Shaoxing wine, distillate spirits.

Recipe:

  1. Wash the pig's forehoof. Coat it with edible nitre, salt, gourmet powder, prickly ash, chives, ginger and pickle in distillate spirits for 2 days.
  2. Braise the pickled forehoof in water till done. Put in some Shaoxing wine and steam it in a food steamer for 2 hours or so. Remover and serve.
