Pork Dishes--Pig's Knuckles & An Egg (shaping like football playing)

Ingredients: 2 pig's knuckles (about 1,000g), a cooked egg, cabbage hearts, dark soy, gourmet powder, Shaoxing wine, salt, rock sugar, prickly ash, chives, ginger

Recipe:

  1. Depilate and clean the pig's knuckles. Coat them with dark soy and set aside.
  2. Saut¨¦ the chives and ginger in a heated wok. Add some water and put in the pig's knuckles. Bring to a boil with a strong fire. Stew over a gentle fire till well done (about 2-3 hours).
  3. Place the pig knuckles and shelled egg in a serving dish surrounded by 10 cabbage hearts. Make the liquor in the wok into a paste and pour it on the pig's knuckles and the egg. Finally pour little done oil on them.
